Rowan T’s world through the eyes of Mommy and Daddy T

Blue

As I write this Kirby is hard at work in Baby T’s room.  He has finished painting the ceiling and has just started painting the walls blue!  Of course its too early to tell exactly how it will look but so far so good!  I am so excited about getting his room ready.  Once the room is painted we will go out shopping for furniture and get all of his stuff unpacked.  Very exciting!

Our baby has hair!

I had an utlrasound yesterday.  The doctor just wanted to make sure Baby T’s growth is still on target since I measure a little small.  Everything is fine!!!  Anyway, it was hard to get a good look at Baby T since he has grown so big.  He is very squished in there.  His face was partly turned away and he kept it covered with his hand so we only got a partial view.  Something we did see though was his hair.  I had no idea that you could see hair on an ultrasound.  But as the technician noted, there was his hair “just blowing in the breeze!”  We also got to see his heart, a kidney, leg bones and once again…his boy parts.  Baby T is due 7 weeks from today!

Baby Shower

I went home to Bryn Athyn this weekend for my second baby shower!  My sisters and mom had a very nice shower for me.  It was a great time and it was so fun to see everyone there.  I got some GREAT gifts and I am very thankful for them.  Hopefully we will have some pictures posted soon.  Thank you to my family and to all who came to the shower.  It was a wonderful afternoon!

Do pregnant women drop things more easily or am I just noticing it more because I am pregnant and its not as easy to bend down to pick up the dropped items? Sometime it seems that all I need to do is look at something and it falls to the floor.
